Grand Junction Inclusivity Project
The GJ Inclusivity Project, formally GJ Swing for a Cause, is a commitee with the purpose of raising awareness and funds for accessibility projects in public spaces here in Grand Junction, CO.
Founded in February 2019 by President Vanessa Perez, the committee has completed its first project: a wheelchair accessible swing at Canyon View Park. With continued community support, the Grand Junction Inclusivity Project is working towards other accessibility projects such as installing wheelchair ramps, child/adult changing tables, and more wheelchair accessible swings. All donations received through this site will be put towards current projects.
We are always wanting to hear from our community about dreams and accessibility obstacles that we can help address to make our public spaces more inclusive. Please contact Vanessa via the button below to share your feedback.
